HOW TO USE THE CLAIMING SYSTEM

📚 Claiming Land

Claiming land is a fundamental way to protect your base, it can stay simple but it could also get complicated. This page exists to help you in your claiming journey.
We use the Lands plugin since it allows for ultimate flexiblity regarding features.

📌 How to Claim

Claiming your first Chunk
Claiming chunk by chunk is easy, you can get started with /claim. If you have not yet created a land then it will automatically create one for you using your username as it's name. Renaming land costs $1000, if you want to rename your land and save the money then use /l create {landname} before claiming your first chunk.

The cost of Claiming
When you claim land (chunks), your first 9 chunks are completely free. However, once you go beyond 9, the cost increases — and it increases exponentially.
After the first 9 free chunks, the cost to claim each new chunk is: $25 * number of chunks you will own. For example:

Total Chunks Cost of this chunk Total Cost
10 $25 $25
50 $1,025 $22,750
100 $2,275 $104,650
500 $12,275 $2,825,875
1000 $24,775 $12,272,600
1500 $37,275 $27,522,125

Claiming multiple chunks at once
You can claim chunk by chunk using /claim, but there is a easy way to claim multiple chunks at once. Use the command /l selection. You will be given a golden hoe, now left click in one corner and right click another corner to select all chunks you want to claim. Now use /claim (or click the text in chat) to claim all chunks within your selection. You will also be able to make sub-areas using this method.

Sub-Areas
use /l selection to select the exact area you want to assign to a subarea. Only the blocks within your selection will be assigned, including height since subareas dont auto select the entire chunk from top to bottom like /claim. Once you have selected an area, use /l assign {areaname} and then confirm it. Follow the chat instructions. Congrats, you have created a subarea! You can manage your new subarea via /l -> areas.

Viewing your claim border
use /l view to easily see the border of any land using particles.
